FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Sneaker Quality

Are your sneakers made with real leather?

Yes, all of our sneakers' upper parts are made with full-grain calf leather. This is one of the best materials to use in footwear, as it has properties that comfort and support your feet. We also internally line our sneakers with leather to maximize their breathability and use leather insoles that mold to your feet for a perfect fit.

What justifies the cost of your sneakers?

Our shoes' cost is driven by our use of higher quality materials and construction.

Not only do we use the best leathers, but our shoes are 100% made from start to finish by artisans in Italy who earn a respectable living wage to support themselves and their families.

While we manufacture in the same region where other higher-end brands, such as Prada, Gucci, and Chanel, make their shoes, we are able to pass great savings onto you by selling online, direct-to-consumer and avoiding retail mark-ups and other middle men.

Are your sneakers' outsoles glued or stitched?

Our outsoles are both glued and stitched onto our sneakers' leather uppers to make our shoes much more durable and higher in quality. Rest assured that we only work with artisans who have generations of shoemaking experience and employ best practices.

Sneaker Information

How will your sneakers fit me?

Our sneakers run true to size. One of the great properties of the leather that we use is that it's very soft and flexible, and it will mold to your feet after a few wears to achieve a perfect fit.

Width-wise, our sneakers are narrow-to-standard, and not wide.

If you're still unsure, be sure to take our fit quiz at the bottom of the size selection on each shoe page.

How much arch support do your sneakers have?

Our sneakers provide support for flat-to-medium arches. If you need further support, you can easily remove the insoles to fit additional orthotics.

Will the sneakers hurt my feet like other leather shoes?

Absolutely not. This is why we purposely craft all of our sneakers with full-grain calf leather whose natural properties make it the best material for footwear. It's a super soft and elastic, yet extremely durable leather that will mold to your feet after a few uses to provide you with a comforting, perfect fit.

Are your sneakers' insoles removable?

Yes, all of our sneakers have removable insoles, allowing you to fit additional orthotics.

How do your sneakers protect my joints?

Thanks to our EVA outsoles, our sneakers absorb the impact of your steps, protecting your joints from wear and tear.

Will the leather make my feet sweat?

On the contrary. The leather that we use is highly breathable. It absorbs and disperses your feet's sweat, allowing your feet to stay dry and preventing the development of fungi and bacteria.

How long will the sneakers last?

Our sneakers' leather has a tighter grain and denser fiber structure that makes it stronger and more youthful than other leathers. While it may crease naturally with use, our leather does not peel nor crack. It becomes more beautiful with age and its natural patina develops a rich character. With proper care, it can last a lifetime.
